Type specimen: MGUH 27218/DK 315, a tooth. Its type locality is A/S Carl Nielsen's sand pit, lower sands, which is in a Berriasian lagoonal sandstone/claystone in the Jydegaard Formation of Denmark.

Distribution: found only at A/S Carl Nielsen's sand pit, lower sands
