Type specimen: Its type locality is Zone B (lower) - Jama Formation, which is in a Pliocene offshore sandstone in the Jama Formation of Ecuador
Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Zone B (lower) - Jama Formation
