Type specimen: ZPAL MgR-III/32, a skull (skull lacking anterior part of snouth, most of brain case, and both supratemporal arches). Its type locality is Khermeen Tsav I, Red Beds [PMPE], which is in a Campanian/Campanian eolian sandstone in the Baruungoyot Formation of Mongolia.
