Type specimen: IGM 3/171 (MAE 283/93-108), a partial skeleton. Its type locality is First Strike, Ukhaa Tolgod, which is in a Campanian eolian sandstone in the Djadokhta Formation of Mongolia.

Distribution: found only at First Strike, Ukhaa Tolgod
