Sister taxa: Ekaltadeta ima, Ekaltadeta wellingtonensis

Type specimen: QM F24200, a mandible (left dentary fragment containing P3, M1-2, trigonoid and hypoconid of M3, symphysial region and ascending remus missing, ventral margin of dentary beneath M2-3 ). Its type locality is Encore Site, which is in a Tortonian lacustrine limestone in Australia.

Ecology: scansorial omnivore

Distribution: found only at Encore Site
