Type specimen: MGHN Pp75, a maxilla (dext. with m1-m3). Its type locality is Batterie du Serrat d'en Vacquer, which is in a Pliocene fluvial siltstone/sandstone in France.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution:
• Pliocene of France (6 collections), Spain (3)
Total: 9 collections each including a single occurrence
