Type specimen: USNM 646077, a shell. Its type locality is Woodring Loc. 138 [lower Gatun Fm], which is in a Miocene marine sandstone in the Gatun Formation of Panama.

Ecology: epifaunal carnivore

Distribution: found only at Woodring Loc. 138 [lower Gatun Fm]
