Type specimen: DM 10682/10683, a partial skeleton ( slab and counter slab consisting of a partial associated skeleton (missing the head) with feather impressions). Its type locality is Clare Ranch, which is in a Chadronian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Florissant Formation of Colorado.

Ecology: volant insectivore

Distribution:

• Oligocene of France (1 collection)

• Eocene of United States (1: Colorado)
