Type specimen: MNHN PM2, a maxilla (left maxilla with P3,4, M1-2). Its type locality is Ouled Abdoun Basin (Phosphatherium type specimen), which is in a Ypresian marine phosphorite in Morocco.

Ecology: ground dwelling grazer-browser

Distribution: found only at Ouled Abdoun Basin (Phosphatherium type specimen)
