Globigerina conglomerata was named by Schwager (1866). It is not extant.

It was recombined as Dentoglobigerina conglomerata by Wade et al. (2018); it was recombined as Globoquadrina conglomerata by Chaisson and Leckie (1993), Lam and Leckie (2020), Brummer and Kučera (2022).
