Taxonomy
Globorotalia dehiscens was named by Chapman et al. (1934). It is the type species of Globoquadrina.
It was recombined as Dentoglobigerina subdehiscens by Expedition 320/321 Scientists (2010); it was synonymized subjectively with Dentoglobigerina juxtabinaiensis by Wade et al. (2018); it was recombined as Globoquadrina dehiscens by Bolli et al. (1957), Darbas and Gül (2019), Lam and Leckie (2020).
