Chomatopyge canasi

Taxonomy
Chomatopyge canasi was named by Chatterton et al. (1998). Its type specimen is CEGH-UNC 16934, a pygidium, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is LAa, Las Aguaditas North Section, which is in a Llanvirn offshore ramp mudstone/chert in the Las Aguaditas Formation of Argentina.
