Taxonomy
Septalaria longisepta was named by Talent (1963) [Septalaria? longisepta]. It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Loc. 50. Mitchell River National Park, which is in a Pragian marine sandstone in the Tabberabbera Formation of Australia.
