Euronyctia saturninensis

Taxonomy
Euronyctia saturninensis was named by Smith (2006). Its type specimen is NMB Db 594a, a mandible (dext. with p3-m1, m3), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is La Debruge, which is in a Priabonian mire/swamp marl in France.

S’en distingue essentiellement par la p4 plus allongée, aux cuspides plus hautes, dont l’entoconide est plus éloigné du métaconide, dont le paraconide est projeté du côté lingual et le méplat antérieur présente une surface plus importante. L’hypoconide des molaires inférieures est pincé antéro-postérieurement et le postcingulide est large.
