Galeodea (Mambrinia) gallica
Taxonomy
Galeodea gallica was named by Wrigley (1934) [DISTRIBUTION: Eocene; western Europe.]. It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is CSUN 662, Orocopia Mountains, which is in a Ypresian offshore shale in the Maniobra Formation of California.
It was recombined as Galeodea (Mambrinia) gallica by Pacaud and Le Renard (1995) and Jeffery and Tracey (1997).
