Taxonomy
Trigonotreta lightjacki was named by Archbold and Thomas (1986). Its type specimen is CPC24388, a valve (Ventral valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is BMR KLD64, Shore Range, which is in a Roadian coastal siliciclastic in the Lightjack Formation of Australia.
