Schizodus bifidus

Taxonomy
Schizodus bifidus was named by Ciriacks (1963). Its type specimen is USNM 140490, a valve (Partially reconstructed right valve), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Hidden Pastures (Franson Mb), Big Sheep Canyon, Beaverhead County, which is in a Wuchiapingian shallow subtidal limestone in the Park City Formation of Montana.
