Taxonomy
Pseudophillipsia (Anisopyge) encrinuroides was named by Weber (1944). Its type specimen is VSEGEI 83-5217, a pygidium, and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Acropyge encrinuroides by Lerosey-Aubril (2012).
