Soleachiton yochelsoni
Taxonomy
Soleachiton yochelsoni was named by Hoare and Smith (1984). Its type specimen is USNM 330848, a valve (Tail valve), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is USNM703a1, Old Word Ranch, Glass Mountains, which is in a Kungurian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Cathedral Mountain Formation of Texas. It is the type species of Soleachiton.
