Pseudotissotia douvillei was named by Peron (1896) [DISTRIBUTION: Turonian; Europe.]. It is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Choffaticeras douvillei by Hyatt (1903); it was recombined as Choffaticeras (Choffaticeras) douvillei by Kennedy (1994).
