Mortoniceras (Boeseites) barbouri
Taxonomy
Pervinquieria barbouri was named by Haas (1942) [DISTRIBUTION: Upper Albian; West Africa.]. It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Hanha, near Lobito (Vernay collection), which is in an Albian carbonate limestone in Angola.
It was recombined as Mortoniceras (Mortoniceras) barbouri by Reyment (1955); it was recombined as Mortoniceras (Boeseites) barbouri by Young (1968).
