Taxonomy
Stromatopora hensoni was named by Prosh and Stearn (1996). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Truro Island, biostrome, which is in an Emsian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Blue Fjord Formation of Canada.
