Sinornis
Taxonomy
Sinornis was named by Sereno and Rao (1992). It is the type genus of Sinornithidae.
It was assigned to Ornithurae by Sereno and Rao (1992); to Sinornithidae by Hou (1997); to Ornithothoraces by Senter et al. (2004); to Euenantiornithes by Chiappe (2002), Cau and Arduini (2008); to Cathayornithidae by Zhou and Wang (2010); and to Enantiornithes by Wang and Liu (2015).
