Pseudoclymenia was named by Frech (1897) [Sepkoski's age data: D Fame-m]. It is not extant. It is the type genus of Pseudoclymeniidae.
It was assigned to Goniatitida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Pseudoclymeniidae by Korn and Klug (2002), Korn (2006).
