Charassognathus gracilis

Taxonomy
Charassognathus gracilis was named by Botha et al. (2007). Its type specimen is SAM-PK-K10369, a partial skeleton (complete skull with lower jaw and some cervicals, ribs and limb elements), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Willodene Farm, Locality 16, which is in a Wuchiapingian crevasse splay mudstone/siltstone in the Teekloof Formation of South Africa.
