Taxonomy
Bathygalea (Miogalea) hadra was named by Woodring and Olsson (1957). It is extant. Its type specimen is USNM 562268, a shell.

It was recombined as Phalium (Echinophoria) hadrum by Abbott (1968); it was recombined as Echinophoria hadra by Beu (2008), Beu (2010).
