Ornithomimipus gracilis

Taxonomy
Irenichnites gracilis was named by Sternberg (1932). Its type specimen is NMC 8552, a footprint, and it is a trace fossil. Its type locality is 2 miles upstream from Gething's mine, Peace River Canyon, which is in an Albian terrestrial sandstone/coal in the Gething Formation of Canada.

It was recombined as Ornithomimipus gracilis by Haubold (1971), Haubold (1974); it was recombined as Ornithomimipus (Irenichnites) gracilis by Thulborn (1990).
