Taxonomy
Rhynchorthoceras minor was named by Kröger et al. (2007). It is not extant. Its type locality is Don Braulio section, Sierra de Villicúm, which is in a Darriwilian open shallow subtidal limestone in the San Juan Formation of Argentina.
