Dendroolithus xichuanensis
Taxonomy
Dendroolithus xichuanensis was named by Zhao and Zhao (1998). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is IVPP V11570 (field no. 7708), an egg, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Zhaojiagou, Dashiqiao (IVPP Loc. 7708), which is in a Coniacian terrestrial horizon in the Gaogou Formation of China.
