Taxonomy
Orthoceras undulostriatum was named by Hall (1847). It is not extant. It is the type species of Striatocycloceras.

It was recombined as Striatocycloceras undulostriatum by Kröger and Isakar (2006), Kröger (2013) and Kröger and Aubrechtová (2019).
