Taxonomy
Chama scheibei was named by Anderson (1929). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is CAS Loc. 267 (horizon M-N), Tubará Mtn [Tubará Fm], which is in a Miocene marine siliciclastic in the Tubará Formation of Colombia.
