Deiradoceras exile was named by van Hoepen (1941). It is a 3D body fossil.
It was synonymized subjectively with Mortoniceras (Deiradoceras) prerostratum by Förster (1975); it was recombined as Mortoniceras (Deiradoceras) exile by Renz (1982).
