Haenamichnus was named by Hwang et al. (2002). It is considered to be a form taxon.
It was assigned to Pteraichnidae by Hwang et al. (2002) and Sánchez-Hernández et al. (2009); to Pterodactyloidea by Kim et al. (2012); and to Agadirichnidae by Masrour et al. (2018).
