Baharipristis bastetiae
Taxonomy
Baharipristis bastetiae was named by Werner (1989). Its type specimen is TUB-SFB69-Vb-534, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Gebel el Dist, Bahariya Oasis, which is in a Cenomanian marginal marine siliciclastic in the Bahariya Formation of Egypt. It is the type species of Baharipristis.
