Bogolubovia orientalis
Taxonomy
Ornithostoma orientalis was named by Bogoliubow (1914). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Malaya Serdoba, which is in a Campanian marine sandstone in the Rybushka Formation of the Russian Federation.
It was considered a nomen dubium by Bakhurina and Unwin (1995), Unwin and Bakhurina (2000); it was recombined as Bogolubovia orientalis by Nessov and Yarkov (1989), Nessov (1991), Averianov et al. (2005).
