Taxonomy
Theelia lata was named by Kozur and Mostler (1971). It is considered to be a form taxon. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cordevol, Köveskál, which is in a Carnian shallow subtidal limestone in the Cordevol Formation of Hungary.
