Taxonomy
Pernodoceras yonganense was named by Wang (1990). Its type specimen is Fj-22-26 and is a mold. Its type locality is Jueqian Bed 22, Fenghai, Yong'an County, which is in a Changhsingian marine siltstone in the Yanshi Formation of China.
