Taxonomy
Fistulipora carrascoi was named by Sakagami (1995). Its type specimen is DESC-95167 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cuyavi Section, Sample Cu113, which is in a Sakmarian carbonate limestone in the Copacabana Formation of Bolivia.
