Taxonomy
Paratumaroceras ruzhencevi was named by Kutygin (2003). Its type specimen is GM IGABM 55/563 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sample 17, Delendzha River, Tumara basin, which is in a Kungurian marine siliciclastic in the Orol Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Paratumaroceras.
