Taxonomy
Kabirmys was named by Sallam et al. (2010). It is not extant. Its type is Kabirmys qarunensis.

It was assigned to Anomaluridae by Sallam et al. (2010); and to Nementchamyidae by Jackson and Thorington (2012).
