Taxonomy
Intomodesma evenica was named by Kuznetsov (1991). Its type specimen is Kazan Univ Geol Mus 144/551, a valve (Left valve), and it is a cast. Its type locality is Otto-Sala River, upper reaches of Kentegeley River, Western Verkhoyan, which is in a Changhsingian marine siliciclastic in the Dulgalakh Formation of the Russian Federation.
