Calyptaulax callirachis

Taxonomy
Calliops callirachis was named by Cooper (1953). Its type specimen is USNM 116535a, a cephalothorax, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Loc. 3. south side of road, 0.2 mile east of Strasburg Junction, which is in a Turinian carbonate limestone in the Edinburg Formation of Virginia.

It was recombined as Calyptaulax callirachis by Chatterton and Ludvigsen (1976).
