Diacanthaspis ulrichi
Taxonomy
Diacanthaspis ulrichi was named by Whittington (1956) [Paratypes: USNM 116522a-c]. Its type specimen is USNM 116521, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Loc. 7, bridge east of Edinburg, which is in a Blackriveran carbonate limestone in the Edinburg Formation of Virginia.
