Remopleurides caphyroides
Taxonomy
Remopleurides caphyroides was named by Whittington (1959). Its type specimen is USNM 137681, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Loc. 3. south side of road, 0.2 mile east of Strasburg Junction, which is in a Turinian carbonate limestone in the Edinburg Formation of Virginia.
