Taxonomy
Remopleurides striatulus was named by Walcott (1875) [Lectotype selected by Raymond 1925]. Its type specimen is MCZ 1616 (lectotype), an exoskeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil.
It was recombined as Hypodicranotus striatulus by Whittington (1952).
