Tulepyge paucituberculata
Taxonomy
Hystricurus paucituberculatus was named by Fortey (1983). Its type specimen is ROM 42292, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is B1 boulder bed, Broom Point South, which is in a Tremadocian carbonate grainstone/mudstone in the Green Point Formation of Canada.
It was recombined as Tulepyge paucituberculata by Adrain and Westrop (2006).
