Taxonomy
Hemizyga (Hemizyga) decussata was named by Yoo (1988). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Marohn Homestead. Yoo Loc. A3. 70 m west of Scone-Gundy road junction, which is in a Tournaisian marine mudstone/limestone in the Dangarfield Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Chlorozyga.
It was recombined as Hemizyga decussata by Yoo (1994), Nützel (1998) and Nützel et al. (2000); it was recombined as Chlorozyga decussata by Nützel and Cook (2002) and Wagner (2023).
