Taxonomy
Ammonites camatteanus was named by d'Orbigny (1841) [= 1953. Rauliniceras (Seunesiceras) collignoni Breistroffer in Breistroffer & de Villoutreys, 1953, p. 74].
It was recombined as Acanthoceras camattei by Seunes (1887); it was recombined as Tegoceras camatteanum by Casey (1978), Kennedy and Klinger (2008).
