Euhystrichoceras (Sakondryella) was named by Collignon (1964) [Distribution: Lower Cenomanian; Madagascar and Coahuila (Mexico).]. Its type is Euhystrichoceras (Sakondryella) madagascariensis.

It was Algericeras (Sakondryella) by Kennedy and Wright (1981).

It was assigned to Euhystrichoceras by Collignon (1964); and to Algericeras by Kennedy and Wright (1981).
