Barbosania gracilirostris
Taxonomy
Barbosania gracilirostris was named by Elgin and Frey (2011). Its type specimen is MNHS/00/85, a partial skeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Chapada do Araripe [Romualdo Fm.] (general), which is in an Aptian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal shale in the Romualdo Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Barbosania.
